About Faith In Motion
Faith In Motion, Inc. is a not-for-profit, faith based, charitable organization in the broadest sense of the word. We offer community services to individuals and families recovering from but not limited to homelessness, domestic violence, drugs and/or alcohol in Maricopa County.
Faith In Motion was started by Mark and Sarah Partridge back in 2002. Mark, being experienced in teaching the gospel of Christ in recovery homes through his home church’s’ local outreach, had already developed a passion for the mission field by the time he started dating Sarah.
Sarah a recovered alcoholic/addict and survivor of domestic violence, passionate for the Lord and helping others receive the blessings of forgiveness and deliverance that Christ has to offer. Together they started the journey of sharing the gospel and reaching out to those who had no hope!
At present Faith In Motion has grown to provide safe Christian environments housing over 40 homeless individuals and children. We currently have a safe home for women and children and are registered with the Arizona Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Faith In Motion has a single fathers home, and an intake home for the chronically homeless and addicted. We provide loving homes for the Dually-Diagnosed.
We mentor residents into gainful employment so they may become productive members of society. We believe in a hand up not a hand out approach!
We have a contract with the United Food Bank to feed over 400 individuals and families per year with basic food needs.
Faith In Motion is a 501c(3) Charitable Organization.
